The lower level of the Future City Model is
floating over the landscape. From the mountains of the landscape
pedestrians reach the columns below the Industry/Commerce level, as can be
seen on the photos. Also visible are
the steel rods within the clear acrylic pipes that literally hold the
tower together. This is one of the secrets of the structure of the
model that is only supported by 6 of such pipes, ore double pipes. One
pipe is going all the way, another pipe supports the layer. |
Six columns support the mega-structure of the 4 layers and counterbalance its extending weights. |

| The Landscape is set as a circular form in the plaza and surrounds
itself eccentrically the circular hole in the ground. There in the depth of the pit is the "Old City", to say the "modern" city of today. It is painted by Christopher Vorlet. From the mountains of the landscape a waterfall pours down from the rim and streams canalized in the Old City. |
